Professors Behaving Badly: Faculty Misconduct in Graduate Education, co-authored by Eve Proper, is profiled in The Chronicle of Higher Education
Eve Proper, a professor in LIM College's Marketing & Management Department, has co-authored a new book that examines bad behavior among faculty who teach and advise graduate students.
For Professors Behaving Badly: Faculty Misconduct in Graduate Education, published this month by Johns Hopkins University Press, Proper and her co-authors, John M. Braxton of Vanderbilt University and Alan E. Bayer of Virginia Tech, surveyed almost 800 professors who work at research universities about behavioral norms for graduate teaching and mentoring.
An article about the book appeared in the October 2 edition of The Chronicle of Higher Education. Read the article here.
