GlobalSpeak Scheduled for April 3 Will Address Philanthropy in Fashion
Institutional Business Development Officer Walter J. Dillingham, Jr. will speak
In the fall of 2011, LIM College and the Student Government Association (SGA) introduced a new event series for students. Known as "GlobalSpeak," it brings people who are actively involved in all types of global issues to the LIM College campus.
GlobalSpeak events may include guest speakers, panel discussions, and/or film screenings and occur regularly throughout the semester. The next GlobalSpeak event for Spring 2012 will feature institutional business development officer Walter J. Dillingham, Jr. and is scheduled for Tuesday, April 3 at 6:30 p.m. in FashionOpolis in the LIM College Townhouse at 12 East 53rd St.
Says Michael Palladino, Director of Student Life, "GlobalSpeak is an academic enhancement meant to stimulate conversation, open opportunities, and create a global awareness of people, places and issues. We aim to create an interactive dialogue to engage our students beyond the classroom and prepare them to not only be potential business leaders, but also global citizens."
