Fashion Insiders: Ultrasuede
The first Spring 2012 LIM College Fashion Insiders speaker series event featured a screening of the documentary "Ultrasuede: In Search of Halston" and a panel with the director Whitney Smith, model Pat Cleveland, and fashion stylist Phillip Bloch.

LIM College's Spring 2012 Welcome Week "The LIM Underground: Transporting You to Your Next Stop" launched on Monday, January 23, 2012 with a welcome back lunch party for all students at LIM's 5th Avenue building.

On Friday, January 20, 2012 new students and parents gathered at LIM College's Townhouse to kick off their first semester at LIM. They met with faculty, staff, alumni and student orientation leaders.

2011 Alumni Holiday Party
Nearly 200 LIM College graduates gathered at Maxwell Hall to enjoy the 2011 Alumni Holiday Party. The "burlesque"-themed evening featured drinks, food, and a special polesque performance. Alumni took away their own personal photos from the photo booth!

Breakfast at Bendel's 2011
LIM College alumni, parents, students, faculty, staff, and friends got into the holiday spirit with a private shopping event at Henri Bendel on 5th Ave. The morning featured a breakfast and a presentation on gift ideas and everyone received a gift bag!

LIM College 2011 Fashion Show
LIM College’s Fashion Club produced a professional-level fashion show, giving students valuable hands-on experience in fashion show production. This year’s show was titled “Kemet” and had an ancient Egyptian theme. It was held at Roseland Ballroom.

New Student Orientation Week - 2011
New students set sail along the Hudson River and danced the night away while enjoying the sights. The LIM College Street Fair featured a fashion show tribute to Alexander McQueen, a rock climbing wall, and lots of tasty treats.

Preview Party for LIM College's Annual Fashion Show
The Fashion Show Production Club hosted the first ever preview party for LIM's annual fashion show. The party revealed the theme and launched the show's social media sites. The 2012 fashion show is titled Temporis and the theme is the future of fashion.

1760 Move-In/Parent Orientation - 2011
New LIM College students moved into our residence hall on Aug. 16. On Aug. 17, parents and families of new students attended their own "Orientation" at the McGraw-Hill Building.

LIM College’s 1760 Residence Hall is a brand-new, all-green living space that can feel more like a hotel than a dormitory. Every room has a private bathroom and comes with a 26” flat-screen TV with a built-in DVD player.

Friends & Family Weekend 2011
From Fri. Oct. 21 to Sun. Oct. 23 over 100 LIM College families attended LIM's inargural Friends & Family Weekend. Parents, students, alumni, friends and family enjoyed events from Casino Night to a Fashion Show to Brunch with LIM's President Marcuse.

Summer Fashion Lab 2011

Applied Fashion Styling and Event Planning I classes presented “Flaunting Fearlessly,” a fashion show and auction which raised money for LIM Fashion Education Foundation. Designer Sylvia Heisel donated the t-shirts that were modeled and auctioned.

Sidewalk Catwalk Exhibit
The Sidewalk Catwalk was a public art installation celebrating New York's fashion industry. The exhibit started on June 24. 2010 and ran through Labor Day. A group of LIM students helped unveil the 32 custom-crafted mannequins.

Italy 2009 - Study Abroad
The study abroad program in Italy consists of one month of study at the American University of Rome, supplemented with visits to historic and tourist sites, as well as visits to important fashion businesses.

Fashion Merchandising Fashion Show 2009
Prof. Ionia Dunn Lee's Fashion Merchandising students put on a fashion show with a three-part theme: "Hot Mess" inspired by the homeless, "Mesmorizing Mischief" inspired by fairy tales, and "Moon Walk," inspired by Michael Jackson.

The LIM Fashion Education Foundation honored Vanessa Williams at its 2nd annual event. This year's event was held on Saturday, October 17 at Ports 1961 in Chelsea. All ticket sales and proceeds from the silent auction went to benefit the LIM FEF.
