Welcome from Michael Londrigan, Chair of the Fashion Merchandising Department

As the Chairperson of LIM College’s Fashion Merchandising department, it is my distinct pleasure to welcome you to the largest department at our institution.

One of the most important responsibilities I have is to take industry experts and put them in our classrooms. Our entire faculty has extensive industry experience. I myself was in the menswear business for more than 30 years. It is a challenge, a balancing act, if you will, to find those individuals who have the necessary experience and ability to educate our students in accordance with the College’s mission and goals.

Our department is staffed with enthusiastic professors who are willing and able to help you with course material as well as help guide you on the career path of your choosing. A degree in Fashion Merchandising can open up a myriad of opportunities and you will find our graduates at many of the top fashion companies and retailers throughout the U.S. 

Within the department we continue to seek advice of outside industry experts in an effort to stay current with technology, as well as with what is happening in the world of fashion.
