Mission Statement:
The mission of the Office of Human Resources at LIM College is for the department to act as a catalyst enabling all employees to establish an optimal work environment for obtaining high productivity, continuous professional and personal growth and to create and maintain the goodwill of the students, staff and faculty through our leadership, employment practices and expertise.  We oversee and manage all facets of staff and faculty recruitment, employment offers, new hire orientation, health benefits administration, employee relations, research, recommendation and implementation of college-wide policies and procedures, staff training and development.

Hours of Operation & Office Location:
Our hours of operation are Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.  We are located on the 3rd Floor of The Townhouse (12 East 53rd Street), adjacent to the Student Financial Services department.

Who We Are:
Andrea L. Granville, Director of Human Resources, is responsible for all facets of organizational management and employee development. The Associate Director manages the annual performance appraisal process, facilitates classroom training, handles employee relations and provides coaching/mentoring for staff development. 
 
Britta H. Hahn, Human Resources Coordinator, is responsible for varied administrative matters of a sensitive nature associated with the Office of Human Resources.  She assists in maintaining all personnel files as required by federal, state and local laws, processes all pre-employment paperwork and works closely with the Associate Director in all areas of Human Resource management and administration. 

Kristen M. Thoelen, Human Resources Assistant (Part-time), supports the mission of the Office of Human Resources by providing administrative support for day-to-day operations in the Office of Human Resources.  She works closely with the Human Resources Coordinator in areas including recruitment, HRIS maintenance, new hire orientations, student worker employment, department purchases, etc.
