Marketing Department Hosts Impressive Roster of Guest Speakers
VH-1 and Remy Cointreau executives are among the lineup for the Fall 2009 semester
Professors in the LIM College Marketing Department are bringing a number of accomplished industry professionals into their classrooms this semester to give students a first-hand perspective on career paths and opportunities in the marketing world. Below is a summary of featured speakers on September and October.
Tori Rappold - Vice President / Director, Brand Marketing Practice, Burson-Marsteller
Ms. Rappold provides consumer public relations strategy and integrated marketing counsel for clients including Sony Ericsson, DeBeers, and AdornBrides.com. She will discuss how to create and build a successful brand.
Heather Williams - Founder, H Williams Footwear
H Williams footwear and handbags are designed for a confident, chic, independent woman. The collection encompasses a definitive sense of movement with attention to patterns and details. H Williams 2009/2010 collection is complemented with precious materials; python, croco stamp and brushed metallic. Hand-made in Italy, the collection reflects a great respect for the history, tradition, and quality behind Italian footwear and handbags. Ms. Williams will talk about how she and Ms. Rappold developed and launched the H Williams Footwear line, which just entered the market this year.
Corey Nealon and Jessica Park - VH-1
Corey Nealon is a writer/producer for VH1 on-air creative and Jessica Park is a marketing communications manager for VH-1. They will speak to Professor Charles Fradella's Direct Marketing classes about how they integrate their departments.

David Altman, President of COD Media, will speak to Consumer Behavior classes.
Warner Johnson, Vice President of Public Affairs at Empire State Development, will be on the LIM College campus to speak to Advertising classes.
Sept. 30 and Oct. 7
Michelle DeFeo, Vice President of Marketing at Remy Cointreau, will speak with students in the College's Advertising and Consumer Behavior classes.
Pamela Watson, fashion stylist and designer/owner of Brycewhere, will speak in Branding classes.
