Help Fight to Save TAP

6/22/2010

Make your voice heard by participating in the "Invest in Me" email campaign

New York State’s Tuition Assistance Program (TAP) is a need-based financial aid program that helped more than 270 LIM College students last year. As the Legislature and Governor are now negotiating the final New York State budget, it is a critical time to remind our elected representatives of the importance of TAP and urge them to restore funding for it.

If more students are going to be able to achieve the dream of a college education in this difficult economic climate, we need to let our elected officials know how important it is to protect funding for the TAP program. You can help by participating in the “Invest in Me” email campaign. Your support really can make a difference, as past email campaigns have helped to prevent the reduction of TAP awards.

Click here to access the campaign: - it will take less than two minutes of your time to participate.
