Amanda Hallay to become Assistant Clinical Professor in Fashion Merchandising Department

Amanda Hallaywill become a full-time faculty member in the Fashion Merchandising Department on May 17th when she assumes her new title as Clinical Assistant Professor.

Ms. Hallay is not a new face to the LIM College community. Since 2008, Amanda has served as an adjunct instructor in the Fashion Merchandising and Arts and Communications departments, a teacher in both the Fashion U and the Fashion Lab programs, and a tutor in the College’s Writing Center. Prior to moving to New York and becoming a member of the LIM College academic community, Amanda was the Paris Correspondent for International Textiles and the International Fashion Editor of Couture and Men Mode magazines in Hong Kong. In addition she was the European Trend Analyst for the Doneger Group. Ms Hallay is also a published author, and has just been commissioned to write three books on the subject of 20th Century popular culture.
