Faculty Profile

Grailing King Visual Merchandising Department

“There’s nothing like it when your student emails you to let you know they’ve just landed their first job in the industry.”

Grailing King has created visual display installations for several of New York City’s top retail locations. As a visual merchandiser at Macy’s Herald Square he had the opportunity to work on every floor of the store. At Victoria’s Secret he oversaw the flagship store as Visual Co-Director, and then moved on to the Women’s Accessories and Cosmetics departments at Bergdorf Goodman.

Professor King, who started teaching at LIM College part-time in 2005, is now a full-time faculty member. Among the courses he teaches are Intro to Visual Merchandising; Visual Presentation; and History, Theory and & Practice of Visual Merchandising.
