Delta Mu Delta Honor Society Inaugural Induction Ceremony - April 17
6 pm at the NYIT Auditorium
LIM College has been granted a charter by the Delta Mu Delta International Honor Society in Business. Delta Mu Delta will now serve as the College’s official business honor society.
Undergraduate students (juniors and seniors) who are currently in the top 20 percent of their class and have a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher, and graduate students who are in currently in the top 20 percent of their class and have a cumulative GPA of 3.80 or higher, have been invited to join Delta Mu Delta. Those who accepted that invitation will be formally inducted at a ceremony on April 17 at 6 pm at the New York Institute of Technology (NYIT) Auditorium (1871 Broadway at West 61st St.)
Seventy-eight students are expected to be inducted into Delta Mu Delta. Several LIM College faculty members and administrators will also be inducted as honorary members at the ceremony, including: President Elizabeth S. Marcuse, Executive Vice President Dr. Christopher J. Cyphers, Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Milan Milasinovic, Dean of Academic Affairs Michael Londrigan, Associate Dean of Experiential Education & Career Management Dr. Dudley Blossom, and Assistant Dean of Student Academic Affairs Dr. Patricia Fitzmaurice.
The ceremony will be presided over by Dr. Charles Finn of the College of St. Rose, who is the LIM College chapter's regional representative. Robert Wallstrom, who is President of Saks Fifth Avenue OFF 5th and Executive Vice President of Saks Fifth Avenue, and a member of the Board of Directors of the LIM Fashion Education Foundation, will serve as the evening's keynote speaker.
