LIM Merit Scholarships

You’re automatically considered for LIM College Merit Scholarships, based on the below criteria, if you apply to LIM College by March 1 (for freshmen) and April 1 (for transfer students). These are the priority admissions deadlines for the fall semester.  

For spring semester admission, the priority application deadline is Dec. 1 for all students. All of the awards listed below are non-need-based.

LIM College Fashion Scholars Program – Honors Scholarship

 

Incoming freshmen with a minimum 90 average and an SAT score of 1150 or above will be invited on a competitive basis to apply to the LIM College Fashion Scholars Program Awards of $6000- to half-tuition per year based on acceptance to the Fashion Scholars Program.  Renewable based on maintaining a cumulative GPA of 3.3 or higher (effective fall 2013) and enrollment in the Fashion Scholars Program. Based on availability. Academic criteria are evaluated during the admissions application review process.
Academic Achievement Scholarship for Freshmen High school students with an average of 85 or higher and SAT scores of 900 and above entering as first-time freshmen Awards of $1,000 - $6,500 based on GPA and SAT scores. Renewable based on maintaining a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher. Based on availability. Academic criteria are evaluated during the admissions application review process
Academic Achievement Scholarship for Transfer Students College transfer students with at least 30 approved transfer credits and a minimum 2.75 cumulative college GPA. Awards of $1,500 - $3,500 based on GPA. Renewable based on maintaining a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher. Based on availability. Academic criteria are evaluated during the admissions application review process
LIM College Transfer Grant Incoming transfers with an earned associate degree and a cumulative college GPA of 2.75 or higher Award of up to $5,000 per year, up to two years. Must maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher. Based on availability. Academic criteria are evaluated during the admissions application review process
 LIM College Sibling Tuition Siblings who are concurrently enrolled at LIM College or a student who had a sibling who previously attended LIM College and graduated 25% of tuition charges, not to exceed the full cost of tuition in conjunction with all other tuition-specific awards.  This award is only available to matriculated undergraduate students enrolled either full-time or part-time with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.00 and in good academic standing Complete the LIM College Sibling Award Application in the Office of Student Finanical Services to establish eligibility by no later than the eighth week of the semester

*For the purpose of academic scholarships, only Critical Reading and Math SAT scores will be combined.
