It has become an indispensable and integral component of the fashion business.
Some Career Options
Visual Merchandising Associates are responsible for carrying out merchandise presentation on the retail level, whether independently or under direction of the Visual Merchandising Manager.
Visual Merchandising Managers are responsible for merchandise presentation and integration of merchandise directives within a store environment.
Visual Merchandising Directors are responsible for merchandise presentation and image development and management within a department or specialty store group.
Display Designers conceptualize, design and develop displays and fixtures used in store environments.
Fashion Stylists coordinate merchandise to project a desired image representative of a client’s style or personality and a store or retailer’s point of view. They typically do freelance work and have unstructured workdays.
