Finding Books and Magazines Using the Catalog
Finding books and magazines is easy with the Adrian G. Marcuse Library Catalog
To search for books (including e-books), magazines, newspapers and other materials in the Library, simply go to your desktop start menu and click Start, Programs, and finally, select Adrian G. Marcuse Library Catalog.
Once you have opened up the Catalog program, begin by entering your search term and selecting a search category (‘words or phrase’, title, author, or subject).
For example, information about “Wal-Mart” could be retrieved by typing the words “Wal-Mart” in the search box, selecting title as the search category.
Results would include items in various formats (book, DVD, etc.), held in different locations throughout the Library (in this case ‘Standard shelving’ and ‘AV shelving’). For details about a particular title, click the blue button on the left (‘Details’).
Please be sure to stop by the library to place your Library sticker on the back of your ID. We look forward to working with you!
