Tim Ceci, Director of the Men’s Store at Barneys New York, is a member of the LIM College Marketing & Management department, where he teaches the Retail Management course. Professor Ceci has served in several key management roles with Barneys New York, including a stint as Director of the Women’s Store. Prior to joining Barneys, he worked at National Geographic as director of their retail and online businesses.
Over the course of a career spanning 25 years, he has also been involved with several other high-visibility brands, including Saks Fifth Avenue, Banana Republic, Niketown and Pier 1 in New York City, and he oversaw the expansion and management of Gap stores in Europe. For a period of time Professor Ceci also ran his own retail consulting practice, with clients including the National Basketball Association, the Discovery Channel and Nature Company.
