Arts & Communications Professor Jason Schafer's play was praised in The New York Times's Arts Beat blog.
"Notes on the Land of Earthquake & Fire," a new play by LIM College Professor Jason Schafer, recently received high praise in The New York Times Arts Beat blog. Jason Zinoman wrote, "The evening ended with a highlight, “Notes on the Land of Earthquake & Fire,” Jason Schafer’s absorbing, well-made thriller about Hollywood power games, sexual politics and the aphrodisiac of power that owes a debt to David Mamet. The acting was refined, the direction meticulous and the writing more polished than most new plays opening Off Broadway."
