LIM College's SIFE team collected nearly 5,000 pounds of food during the "Let's Can Hunger" food drive that recently took place on campus. In addition to setting up donation boxes in buildings around campus, the SIFE team conducted two food drives at the D'Agostino supermarket on 86th St. and 2nd Ave. and also helped pack up leftover produce from the Union Square Greenmarket. Between these efforts, the team was able to gather nearly two-and-a-half tons of food for City Harvest.

City Harvest was founded 25 years ago in New York as the world's first hunger rescue organization. City Harvest helps over a quarter of a million New Yorkers eat their next meal each week.
