Graduate Studies Career Services
The Office of Graduate Studies Career Services (GSCS) has a mission to support all LIM College MBA students in developing their current and future career goals. This is accomplished through personal, in-person and online services offered to both our students and employers which provide the necessary tools to help the students make self-directed decisions.
The MBA students are provided with resources to assist them with both internship and job selection. Services for our students include the following:
- One-on-one career counseling & advising sessions
- Workshops on career skills covering topics such topics as professional writing, self-branding, and interviewing techniques
- Online research and self-assessment tools
- Symplicity, our on-line posting system for internships and jobs
- Advice on strategic job search methods and effectively promoting oneself in the workplace
- Career coaching in areas such as assertiveness, communication skills, and self-presentation
