Travel Abroad Program to China - May 29 to June 12, 2010

A two-week course of study in China encompassing the culture, business and the fashions of Beijing, Shanghai and Hong Kong.

Interest meetings will be held Feb. 23, 24 and March 2 at 1 pm in Room 0504 of the Fifth Avenue building.

Program Information
Price (estimate): $4685
Includes: airfare, hotels, lunches, transportation to and from airport, local transportation, and planned cultural activities.
Does NOT include: dinners, tips, spending money and phone.

This program is open to all students with a cumulative grade point of 2.5 or above at LIM College.

Applications will be available beginning Feb. 23. Students will be required to submit an unofficial LIM College transcript, two professor recommendations and a completed application form. 

Applications will be due on March 15 with a $250 check for the non-refundable application fee. Applications can be submitted before the due date. Please be aware that professors should be asked well in advance to write a recommendation. (The $250 will be refunded to those who are not accepted to the program.)

Accepted students will be notified by March 17.

1st Payment of $1400: Due (if accepted to program) March 25
2nd Payment of $1000: Due April 12
3rd Payment of $1000: Due April 26
4th Payment of $1035: Due May 6

WITHDRAWAL AND REFUND POLICY: Students withdrawing prior to the start of the program will receive a full refund minus the $250 non-refundable application fee and all committed expenses. No portion of the program costs will be refunded after the trip has started. Should the College cancel the program, a full refund, including the $250 non-refundable application fee will be returned to the student.
