American University of Rome
There are two programs held at the American University of Rome (AUR): Summer program and Semester program.
The summer program runs in two sessions. Summer Session I, which runs from the end of May to late June, and Summer Session II, which runs throughout the month of July. Second semester freshmen, sophomores, juniors, and seniors are eligible to participate in this program. Students can choose to study during either summer session or both summer sessions.

This is a full semester abroad. It is open to qualified sophomores and juniors in the fall and spring.

- Students must be a sophomore at the time of the program.
- It is recommended that students have a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Students must be in good academic and financial standing in order to participate.
- Students must fill out all portions of the general study abroad application by the deadline.
