The LIM College Archives
The LIM College Archives is part of the Adrian G. Marcuse Library at LIM College and is located on the 14th floor of Maxwell Hall. The mission of the LIM Archives is to identify, collect, organize, describe, preserve and make accessible the enduring records of LIM College and materials related to the fashion industry. The LIM College Archives consist of three major collections:
- LIM College Records
- Special Collections
- Rare Books
LIM College Records:
LIM College Records consist of materials of enduring value created by or about LIM College. Some of the types of items included in this collection are photos, letters, programs, catalogs, newsletters, yearbooks, brochures, invitations, flyers, website, and clippings.

The special collections at LIM College include manuscripts, photos, publications, books, fashion forecasts, illustrations, clippings, websites, and any other ephemeral material related to an individual or organization important to LIM College or the fashion industry.
Special Collections at LIM College are organized by the creator and/or donor. Holdings include collections from:
- Maxwell F. Marcuse
- David Wolfe
- Stanley Kohlenberg
- Alexandra Potts
The LIM College Library transfers rare and valuable books to the LIM College Archives. LIM College is also developing collections of rare books and other publications including Visionaire and books published by Franco Maria Ricci.
The LIM College Archives recently partnered with Archive-It to preserve the LIM College and other fashion related websites. Our Partner Page is located at Archive-It.
