Rudy Lalak LIM College Center for Graduate Studies

“Students should enter the LIM College MBA program with their eyes wide open to the need for work in analytics in finance and other disciplines to complement their passion for fashion.”

Teaching on the graduate level provides me with an enhanced opportunity to capitalize on by own business experience by challenging students to think outside of the box.

An MBA degree is associated with such terms as leadership, problem-solving, capitalizing on opportunities and decision-making. Virtually every business decision has financial ramifications. And all of the foregoing applies to the fashion industry. Students should enter the LIM College MBA program with their eyes wide open to the need for work in analytics in finance and other disciplines to complement their passion for fashion.

Working by day and pursuing a graduate degree at the same time is a challenge and time management skills are absolutely invaluable. But the rewards in terms of challenging, satisfying careers and a sense of accomplishment are well worth the effort. I have spent a great deal of time in academic settings, both as student and teacher, and I cannot overemphasize the importance and value of education.
