LIM College Adds Concentration in Digital Business Strategy
Will prepare students for a variety of careers in a rapidly-expanding field
As a result of the recent development of new courses, requests from students, demand from employers, and a growing sense that the future of business is all things digital, LIM College is introducing a new concentration in Digital Business Strategy.
This is the first step in an ongoing process within the LIM College academic program to place increased emphasis on digital business and the career paths available in that realm, including such areas as:
- e-tailing and multi-channel retail
- eCommerce, fCommerce and mCommerce
- social media marketing
- interactive marketing
- mobile apps and location-based marketing
- blogging, online writing and digital media
- grassroots, guerilla and viral marketing
Students who are interested in adding the Digital Business Strategy concentration to their degree plans should choose 9 credits (three courses) from the following list:
- Social Media & Mobile Marketing
- Interactive & Internet Marketing
- Multi-Channel Retail
Since the world of digital business is constantly changing, this list will also change over time as the College develops new courses and modifies existing ones.
