Everlidis was born in New York City, but moved to the Dominican Republic at a young age. She returned to the U.S to pursue her undergraduate education and graduated from the University of Vermont with a bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Spanish. At the University of Vermont (UVM) Everlidis was highly involved in student organizations. She was an Orientation leader, a Peer Advisor for the Discovering UVM Summer Enrichment Scholarship Program, Program Director for the Spanish House (one of the university’s living and learning communities), and a member of the Dean’s Advisory Board.
