How to Apply

At LIM College, our hands-on education programs immerse you into the fashion world from day one. You gain skills and knowledge to build a resume that sets you apart while learning the ins and outs of the business of fashion. And by living and studying in New York City, you experience the opportunities and industry connections needed to build a successful fashion career.

Freshmen applicants are currently in high school or have never enrolled in a college or university. If you’re currently enrolled in college credits through a high school or dual-enrollment program, you should apply as a freshman.

LIM College accepts applications on a rolling basis, and you can apply up to the beginning of the Fall or Spring semester until all openings are filled. We strongly encourage you to apply as early as possible as class sizes are limited. Submit your application materials to Undergraduate Admissions. You will be notified of our admissions decision within four to six weeks. Early Action decisions are sent in mid-December. To be considered for Early Action you must be an incoming first-time Freshman, non-matriculated from another college and submit all application materials by November 15.

In a 300-500 word essay, please describe the most significant experience, accomplishment, risk you have taken, moral dilemma or personal triumph you have faced and its impact on you.

To be considered for admissions, you must submit an online or paper application along with a $40 non-refundable application fee or approved fee waiver. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis for regular admissions or due by November 15 for Early Action admissions.
