Calling all high school or college students. Do you love fashion? If you answered yes, consider spending Saturdays with us in the Fall or Spring or spend your summer in New York City. There’s no better way to learn about fashion-related careers and prepare for your future by taking classes at the college devoted exclusively to the business of fashion.
Get an up-close view of some of today’s hottest fashion careers by taking classes at LIM College. Industry experts take you behind-the-scenes to the worlds of styling, buying, fashion show production, and more as you get a taste of what it’s like to study fashion at the college level. If you’re creative, enthusiastic, and passionate about fashion then this is the perfect program for you.
We offer two pre-college programs: Saturday Fashion Lab and Summer Fashion Lab. Saturday Fashion Lab runs over five Saturdays in the Fall and Spring semesters. Summer Fashion Lab runs consecutive weeks in July. The Fashion Labs are open to all high school students and recent high school graduates.
Summer Fashion Lab
LIM College’s Summer Fashion Lab is a comprehensive pre-college program that offers high school and college students the opportunity to study fashion at the college level, experience New York City, and test drive a college exclusively devoted to the business of fashion.
Saturday Fashion Lab
Saturday Fashion Lab prepares high school students for a career in fashion. Students have five courses to choose from to learn an introduction to fashion, including buying, a stylist’s role, fashion marketing, and more.
Middle School Summer Lab
Do you have a passion for fashion? LIM College is launching a Fashion Lab Program exclusively for middle-school students, ages 11 - 13. This fun and interactive one-week summer program will give young students a chance to learn about key fashion business areas like merchandising, buying, visual merchandising and styling. Classes will be taught by our college faculty and industry professionals and involve key field trips to industry sites.
