Doug Jakubowski, Class of 1983

Doug has a job that calls for knowledge of everything from marketing, merchandising, sales, product development, planning, and sourcing. He came to LIM from Iselin, New Jersey with a pretty good idea of the career path he wanted to pursue, but he was uncertain what to expect. LIM's emphasis on internships and in-the-field experience provided Doug with just the kind of education and training he needed to support his career goals.
Doug is now an active member of LIM's Fashion Industry Advisory Board and visits LIM regularly to speak to students about career opportunities in the business of fashion.
