Senior Co-op

During the final semester at LIM College students complete a semester-long, full-time Senior Co-op internship. This internship provides students with intensive hands-on experience at a company of their choosing.

Per the Senior Co-op Guidelines, students spend a minimum of 28 hours per week (Monday through Thursday) at the internship site. During this time, students are working with a faculty mentor to develop learning objectives and a plan to achieve them. Students develop a learning journal that illustrates progress towards their objectives.

Students in the Senior Co-op have interned in such fields as: buying, public relations, fashion publication, department stores, cosmetics, styling, and many other types of opportunities in and around New York City.

Please hover over each area of industry to see some of the companies where students have completed Senior Co-op. For a complete list of the companies sponsoring our Senior Co-op students, please click here.
