Work Project I

No matter which path you pursue, you need a foundation in retailing to prepare for your future fashion career. Work Project I is a 3-credit required course which consists of a career-planning class and a hands-on internship within the retail sector.

The class will prepare you for your internship by introducing you to a variety of fundamental skills, such as:

  • Resume writing
  • Interview techniques
  • Job search strategies

The five-week, full-time position in a retail setting provides you with work experience in retail, which is the backbone of the fashion industry.
