LIM College: Haiti's Rescue

The college community is in the process of coordinating recovery efforts for the people in Haiti

LIM College will set up drop box locations in each LIM building labeled "Haiti’s Rescue."  If you have items you wish to donate, please bring them in and we will assemble the supplies and ensure they are forwarded to the appropriate charities. Below, you will find a  list of critical supplies that are needed. Additional emails from the College will go out with updates and other ideas on how to in support this rescue effort.

List of supplies needed:

  • Clothes – light-weight children’s and adult's clothing, unworn underwear. Remember, Haiti is a warm country. Please do not donate winter clothes.
  • Footwear – shoes, sneakers, socks
  • Facemasks
  • Tents, sleeping bags
  • Blankets, sheets, beddings
  • Candles, matches, batteries, portable spotlights
  • Water
  • Non-perishable Food - canned, rice, flour
  • Can openers
  • Medical supplies – First Aid kits, rubbing alcohol, peroxide, Band-Aids, bandages, latex gloves
  • Toiletries – toothpaste, toothbrushes, soap, hair brushes, diapers, toilet paper
  • English to French dictionary

Please be on the lookout for the "Haiti's Rescue" boxes located around the College. Give often!
