LIM College Student Wins Next Generation Award

Industry award recognizes student's eco-friendly apparel line

LIM College senior Kristine Lusardi was recognized in her local paper, the Advertiser-News, as a winner of the Next Generation Award competition, a program developed between LIM College and the Accessories Council to recognize tomorrow's fashion industry leaders.

Kristine won for her plan to create Treads, a brand of fashion accessories made out of recycled tires. Kristine was awarded $2,500 for her winning idea.
