Student Health Insurance

LIM College is pleased to provide all full-time undergraduate students, and all part-time and full-time MBA students with an affordable student health insurance plan. The cost of this plan is $1,457 for 12 months of coverage. For newly enrolled Spring 2012 students and newly enrolled Term 3 MBA students, the cost is $815 for 7 months of coverage. Plan highlights include:

• Access to a comprehensive network of doctors, specialists, and hospitals close to campus and home
• Coverage for hospital room and board, inpatient and outpatient surgical procedures, labs and x-rays, inpatient and outpatient mental health services, physician office visits, and prescription drugs
• Worldwide travel assistance coverage while studying and traveling abroad
• Access to discounts for dental, eyewear, and fitness services

Undergraduate Students:  All full-time undergraduate students are automatically enrolled unless proof of comparable health insurance coverage is provided. Students can waive coverage by submitting an Online Waiver Form. Before waiving, you should review your current policy to be sure that it provides comparable coverage. The deadline to file a Petition to Waive coverage for the Fall semester is September 30, 2011. 

For newly enrolled spring 2012 students, the deadline to waive is January 31, 2012.

Graduate Students:  All full-time and part-time graduate students are automatically enrolled unless proof of comparable health insurance coverage is provided. Students can waive coverage by submitting an Online Waiver Form. Before waiving, you should review your current policy to be sure that it provides comparable coverage. The deadline to waive coverage for Term 1 is September 30, 2011.

For newly enrolled Term 3 2012 graduate students, the deadline to waive is January 31, 2012
