Fashion Survey

Fashion Survey is a two part course for freshmen and sophomores providing LIM students with the opportunity to hear first hand the excitement and challenges of working in the fashion industry.

Each week a different fashion executive visits LIM as a guest lecturer. The lecturers stem from various areas of the fashion business field, including: public relations, visual merchandising, buying, product development, marketing, and magazine publications.

The unique benefit of Fashion Survey is the interaction LIM students have with industry professionals. Lecturers share a behind the scenes look into the real world of fashion. They talk about the company they work for and what their job responsibilities are.  Most importantly, LIM students learn about the vast career opportunities in the business of fashion.
