Applying for Housing

Housing at LIM is:

  • On a "first come first serve" basis, and is not guaranteed
  • For the full academic year

Priority for student housing is given to students who maintain full time matriculation status. Vacancies may be filled with other students who are participating in LIM programs and other eligible persons within the sole discretion of LIM.

The Process:

STEP 1: You will receive a housing application in the mail with your tuition agreement.

STEP 2: Complete the tuition agreement and the housing application and return all signed documents, along with the $25 housing application fee and the $400 enrollment fee, to the Office of Student Financial Services. The Office of Student Financial Services will forward your housing application to the Residence Life Office.

STEP 3: After the Residence Life Office receives your housing application and application fee, the housing contract will be mailed to your home address.

STEP 4: Read the housing contract carefully and return the completed last page along with the $700 deposit to the Office of Student Financial Services.

STEP 5: Once your housing contract and deposit are received, your space at 1760 Third Avenue will be secured. You will be assigned a roommate in July.

Untimely completion of documents and payments may result in denial of your housing application.
