LIM Visual Merchandising Department Shines at Industry Conference
September 2008 -

LIM was well-represented at the annual International Retail Design Conference held this month in Seattle. For the second consecutive year, Eric Feigenbaum, Chairman of LIM's Visual Merchandising department, moderated the conference's symposium on Visual Merchandising. LIM professors Raymond Mastrobuoni and Paul Baglio also participated on the symposium panel.

Says Feigenbaum, "The symposium was an unqualified success. We could not get the audience to leave at the end because the questions kept coming."

Marjorie Lee Woo, Associate Chair of the Visual Merchandising department, won the coveted "Iron Merchant Award" by providing a winning solution to this year's design challenge.

The conference also provided LIM's Visual Merchandising faculty with a great opportunity to make valuable new contacts and further existing relationships.

According to Feigenbaum, "It was both a learning and a sharing experience for LIM's Visual Merchandising department and brought the College's recognition within the Visual Merchandising community to a whole new level."
