Workshops Offered

Throughout the academic year, the Office of Counseling offers several workshops and activities that are of interest to college students.  These include topics on mental health, relationships, and physical well-being. 

Some of the workshops recently presented on campus include:

  • Anxiety and depression screening
  • Smoking cessation
  • Nutritional counseling
  • Developing healthy relationships
  • Conquering test anxiety
  • Accepting you body type
  • Eating healthy on a limited budget and with limited time

Activities conducted at the DeHirsch housing include:

  • Gourmet cooking on a budget
  • Self defense
  • Conflict resolution
  • Game night - using games to build frustration tolerance
  • Movie night - movies chosen appeal to college students and address their concerns
