Housing Costs

Housing Deposit 2008 - 2009
Housing deposits should be sent with the housing contract unless you currently reside in LIM housing, in which case your previous year's deposit will roll over when your signed housing contract is submitted:

Non-refundable housing deposit............$500
(Applied toward semester housing payment)

Security deposit................................$200
(Refunded at the end of the spring semester subject to a satisfactory room inspection)

Total deposit due..............................$700

Room Rates
The cost per space in both double and triple occupancy rooms is $14,950 per person* for the year (Aug. - May).
*A charge of $7,475 will be assessed to your LIM student account each semester.

Full housing payment for the Fall 2008 semester is due by June 16, 2008.
Full housing payment for the Spring 2009 semester is due by December 1, 2008.

Any student in housing during the Fall semester who is not returning to LIM as an enrolled student for the Spring semester must vacate their room 24 hours after their last exam, unless given written permission by LIM's Residence Life Office.

Checks should be made payable to the Laboratory Institute of Merchandising.
