Off Campus Housing

You can search for an apartment in Manhattan, one of the outer boroughs, or New Jersey by doing research online, checking the classified advertising section in newspapers, and/or working with a real estate agent.

LIM does not endorse nor does it affiliate itself with any websites or brokers. All arrangements must be made directly with the facilities. LIM assumes no responsibility in connection with lease agreements. Some facilities may require an application fee and/or deposit.

When considering housing options, LIM suggests doing the following:

  • Arrange for accommodations as soon as possible.
  • Research the residence and the neighborhood in which you plan to live.
  • Call each residence individually to arrange a visit and/or get more detailed information.
