Visual Merchandising Faculty Member to Have Solo Art Exhibit
Katerina Lanfranco's 'Wildflower and Floating Worlds' to be shown at the Nancy Hoffman Gallery
From June 20 through August 2, an exhibition of two new bodies of work by Katerina Lanfranco, who teaches in LIM College's Visual Merchandising Department, will be on display at the Nancy Hoffman Gallery (520 West 27th St.). "Wildflower & Floating Worlds,” a solo show, is a captivating installation of mixed media botanical sculptures and shadow box assemblages of otherworldly landscapes.
The LIM College community is welcome to attend the opening reception for the exhibition, which will be held on June 20 from 6 to 8 p.m.
Lanfranco's work is also included in the Cleveland Clinic Art Program, Ohio; Corning Museum of Glass, Corning, New York; The Judith Rothschild Foundation Contemporary Drawing Collection, Museum of Modern Art, New York; Special Collections Library, University of Santa Cruz, California and Kupferstichkabinet Museum of Prints and Drawings, Berlin, Germany.
