Be a part of a Tunnels to Towers project on Staten Island

tunnels to towers logoLast year, thousands of families in NY and NJ were devastated by Hurricane Sandy. Many still need help.

Help rebuild a Staten Island home destroyed by Hurricane Sandy. This may include hanging insulation or drywall, mudding/spackling, sanding, texturing, priming, painting, laying floors and/or hanging trim, doors and baseboard (no experience necessary).

Volunteers will leave from Maxwell Hall at 8:30 a.m. and return to campus at approximately 4:30 p.m. The group will take public transportation to and from Staten Island with an LIM College staff member.

This is a volunteer opportunity, but you must be 100% committed to the date and time, and you cannot miss class to participate in this.
