LIM.FILMANTHROPY Film Series: See 'Arranged' on Oct. 23
About the friendship between an Orthodox Jewish woman and a Muslim woman both going through the process of an arranged marriage
The Fall 2013 season of the LIM.FILMANTHROPY film series continues on October 23 with a 6 p.m. showing of Arranged in the Maxwell Hall Student Center.
In Arranged, two young women — one an Orthodox Jew, the other Muslim — meet and become friends as first-year teachers at a public school in Brooklyn. Over the course of the year they learn they share much in common, not least of which is that they are both going through arranged marriages.
Films in the LIM.FILMANTHROPY series are selected by a panel of students and faculty. Admission is free, but donations to a non-profit organization, which will be selected by students at the end of the semester, will be accepted. For more info. or to RSVP email firstname.lastname@example.org
