Students Style Pint-Sized Buyers at ENK’s Kids Shop
Innovative marketing initiative provides a hands-on learning opportunity
At ENK’s “Kids Shop” at the Javits Center on October 6-8, young consumers had the chance to play the role of retail buyers and models during ENK’s Children’s Club childrenswear show. Children’s Club exhibitors pitched their newest collections to these pint-sized professionals, who then placed their “orders” and modeled their selections in a pop-up photo studio inside the show.
As part of this project, LIM College students were enlisted by ENK to style the children for their photo shoots. A competition was held in Professor Fabrizio Babino’s Fashion Styling class and ENK chose Cirita Rae Eversley as head stylist, and Alyxis Flaggs and Kelly Vazquez as assistants. This innovative marketing initiative provided all three with a fun, hands-on learning opportunity.
The results of the students’ photo session work can be found on the Children’s Club Facebook page
