LIM College to Join Fashion Scholarship Fund for Event Featuring Industry Leaders


Students, faculty and staff invited to attend panel on "Redesigning the Rules of Fashion in Today’s Media"

LIM College is co-sponsoring the YMA Fashion Scholarship Fund’s annual Roundtable discussion on Thursday, December 10 at 5 p.m. at The Times Center (242 West 41st St.). This year’s panel topic is “Redesigning the Rules of Fashion in Today’s Media.” Mary Alice Stephenson, Contributing Fashion Editor at Harper’s Bazaar will moderate the session. Confirmed panelists include:

Dani Stahl – Style Director, Nylon magazine

Patrick McMullan – CEO/President, Patrick McMullan Company

Stuart Elliott – Advertising Columnist, The New York Times

Alex Gonzalez – Principal and Chief Creative Officer of AR-New York (AR is a full-service advertising agency with clients that include Banana Republic, Brioni, Jimmy Choo and Jones New York)

The YMA Fashion Scholarship Fund is a national non-profit association consisting of influential members of the fashion community, dedicated to promoting education of the fashion arts and business by granting scholarships to talented students and facilitating internships, mentorships and career programs.
