LIM College Offers New Exchange Program in Australia

Juniors can spend a semester studying abroad at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology

LIM College students now have the opportunity to spend a semester studying in Australia through the College’s new exchange program with the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT).
The Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology is one of Australia’s leading educational institutions. As an innovative, global university of technology, with its heart in the city of Melbourne, RMIT has an international reputation for excellence in career-relevant education and high quality research, and engagement with the needs of industry and community. More than 70,000 students study at RMIT campuses in Melbourne, Vietnam, online, and at partner institutions throughout the world.

LIM College juniors can spend their fall or spring semester taking courses in RMIT’s Marketing, Management and Textile departments, and can also choose from their vast liberal arts and professional elective course offerings.

Applications for the Spring 2011 semester are due August 1, 2010. Candidates will be evaluated based on their academic performance at LIM College, recommendation letters, an interview, and how well they articulate their academic purpose for wanting to study at RMIT.
Participants in the full-semester program will live with other RMIT students in the university’s facilities and RMIT staff will be available to assist with housing arrangements.
