Dr. Dudley Blossom to discuss "Marketing 2.0" at "Behind the Seams" event

Dr. Dudley Blossom, Chair of the Marketing & Management department at LIM College, will be a part of a panel discussing "Marketing 2.0" at the “Behind the Seams” fashion industry forum on Oct. 8 at the Fashion Institute of Technology. 

Presented by Afingo.com, "Behind the Seams" will tap top designers, apparel manufacturing insiders, buyers, editors, and celebrity tastemakers to offer wisdom, opinions, and tips to a diverse audience of fashion fans, members of the press, retailers, students and others looking for an edge as they climb the ladder of one of the world’s most glamorous and competitive industries. Exposing the birth of trends, the building of careers, and the tricks of marketing and networking, the eight-hour, five-panel event will wrap up with an intimate cocktail reception for speakers and select attendees.

Working in partnership with MAGIC Marketplace and MAGIC Sourcing, Afingo.com will donate a portion of proceeds to the Save the Garment District organization to help preserve New York City’s vibrant, vital apparel production neighborhood and the retail businesses in it.

The "Marketing 2.0" panel will address creating, marketing and selling in the age of new media.
