LIM College Student Fashion Show: 'Rebelution' to Be Held on April 12 at Roseland Ballroom
Tickets now on sale - 1,500 guests expected - including fashion icon Patricia Field
LIM College’s annual Fashion Show – run and produced entirely by students – will be held on Friday, April 12 at 7 p.m. at Roseland Ballroom (239 West 52nd St. in Manhattan). This year’s show is titled “Rebelution” and features a rock-n-roll-theme.
Says faculty advisor Maryanne Grisz, "LIM College recognizes that fashion is always changing. This past season, we have noticed the influence of punk rock and glam in clothing, so our theme reflects these fashion trends."
The show will feature more than 30 models, representing the diverse student body of LIM College. They will walk a catwalk installation designed by fellow LIM students.
Last year there were approximately 1,300 guests at the Fashion Show. This year organizers are expecting closer to 1,500 (including a special appearance by legendary fashion figure Patricia Field) and a portion of ticket sales will benefit the LIM Fashion Education Foundation. Prices are as follows: LIM College students w/ID $10; Other students w/ID $15; General Admission $20; VIP Party and Show $35.
