Student Leadership Conference
The LIM College Leadership Conference, now in its 6th year, is a unique opportunity for students, practitioners and industry professionals to engage in meaningful dialogue on the leadership process and an excellent learning opportunity. Participants will leave the conference transformed to effect change in today’s global landscape.
This year’s Student Leadership Conference theme and programming focuses on CORE Leadership: Committed, Organize, Responsible & Enthusiastic!
CORE leaders transform others through inspiration and motivation.
The concept of transformational leadership was initially introduced by leadership expert James MacGregor Burns and later expanded upon by Bernard M. Bass. Transformational leaders show integrity, and they know how to develop a robust and inspiring vision of the future. They motivate others to achieve this vision, they manage its delivery, and they build ever stronger and more successful teams.
Sessions will allow for the identification and potential of the leader that is in each of us and lead to higher productivity and engagement.
The Student Leadership Conference is a two-day event that will be held on Nov. 14 and 15, 2014. Check back for updates on the speakers and conference schedule.
We look forward to meet you at the conference. If you have any questions please feel free to contact Mohanlall T. Teloki, Assistant Director of Student Life at firstname.lastname@example.org or 646.388.8425.
