Commuter Information & Programs

Commuter students are a very important part of the student body at LIM College. Approximately two-thirds of our students commute and live in non-LIM College housing.

We know that commuters face special challenges, and the Office of Student Life can be a valuable resource for you. In addition to providing information about local transportation options, we sponsor the Commuter Breakfast Series and the Commuter Club!

Even though you may have a long commute every day, there are still plenty of opportunities to get involved on and off campus. Various clubs meet during the lunch hour, so there are plenty of ways to get involved. Make sure to check your LIM College email for upcoming commuter events!

Commuter Breakfast Series

The Commuter Breakfast Series occurs the fourth Wednesday of every month from 8 to 10 a.m. and features guests from throughout the College. These informal events provide a great opportunity to come and meet other commuters and ask College administrators any questions you may have.
Stop by at any time during the breakfast to grab a quick bite to eat and mingle.

The Commuter Breakfast series will take place on the following dates:

February 24
March 24
April 28

If you have any questions about this series, please contact Brett Cameron at

Commuter Club

The Commuter Club is a great way to get involved on campus and meet other commuter students. This student organization is the primary student advocacy body for commuter students and represents their interests, concerns and needs. This club meets during the lunch hour and is open to all commuter students.
