The Office of Student Life provides programs and services which help you grow academically and personally.

We coordinate LIM College’s student clubs/organizations, activities, leadership opportunities, community service, diversity education programs, and New Student Orientation. We believe that getting involved in the campus community will help you become a successful LIM College student. Getting involved on campus is also a great way for you to meet new friends and interact with fashion industry professionals and faculty and staff members.

Clubs and Organizations
Student Life is a resource in the development and achievement of student organizations. Your involvement in co-curricular and extra-curricular activities is important and will aid you academically and provide you with skills and experiences for the future.

Student organizations are a fun and informal way to get involved and interact with fellow students and faculty. Many clubs are professionally oriented; club advisors are experienced in the field and can help you connect with key people in the industry. You can meet friends, build a resume, and make the most of your college experience by joining a student organization.

Forming New Organizations
The Office of Student Life encourages our students to organize new student organizations. Your organization can be formed to fit the needs of current students if they are not already being served by another organization. To do so, an application must be completed and approved by the Office of Student Life.

Sigma Beta Delta
Sigma Beta Delta is an internationally recognized Honor Society for students majoring in areas of business, management and administration. The purpose of this Society is to encourage and recognize scholarship and achievement among students, and to encourage and promote aspirations toward personal and professional improvement and a life distinguished by honorable service to mankind. Seniors and juniors achieving a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or above and who are in good academic standing are eligible for membership in the LIM College chapter. Inductions are held each spring.

Diversity Programs
The Office of Student Life is committed to fostering a social, cultural, and intellectual campus environment which empowers you to achieve your educational and individual goals. Student Life offers programs and services which address diversity and multicultural topics. These programs are designed to raise student awareness which will assist students in working with the global community.

Orientation Leader Program
The Orientation Leader program trains current LIM College students to work with incoming students at LIM College’s New Student Orientation program. As an orientation leader, you are a role model and advisor vital in the transition of new students. Orientation Leaders are dedicated and possess strong leadership, communication and team- building skills and take great pride in LIM College. Being an Orientation Leader is a great way to become involved, build your resume, and make new friends in the process.
