A panel discussion about the creative mind and taking a leap of faith when all the elements in the above equation line up to create the perfect and unexpected career. The discussion will be led by Dr. Dudley Blossom, Associate Dean of Experiential Education & Career Management at LIM College.

Mike is also a U.S. Navy veteran with two deployments to the Middle East and is a dual citizen of France and the United States. 

Jon Harari, CEO and co-founder of WindowsWear.com

Jon Harari is the CEO & Co-Founder of WindowsWear. Prior to co-founding WindowsWear, Jon co-founded a NYC-based fashion retail business to establish U.S. market opportunities for top internationally-based designers. Prior to working in fashion, Jon was an investment analyst at distressed debt, activist hedge fund Aurelius Capital Management and an investment banker at Lehman Brothers. Jon also serves on the boards of several non-profit young professional organizations, including American India Foundation, Chabad Young Professionals, Children of Chernobyl and JCorps. Jon graduated from the Business Honors Program at Indiana University, magna cum laude.

 

Becca_McCharenBecca McCharen, Designer of Chromat
Drawing from designer Becca McCharen’s theoretical background in architecture and urban design, Chromat focuses on structural experiments for the human body. Chromat began in 2010. Scaffolding, city maps, wearable exoskeletons and the intricacies of undergarments have been explored as each new collection develops. Chromat pieces have been worn by Madonna, Grimes, Tyra Banks, Nicki Minaj and most recently, Beyonce’s dancers at the 2013 Super Bowl.

 

 

   

Debbie KiedererDebbie Kiederer
Founder and Principal, ChalkDust Consulting, LLC; Co-author and Managing Member of Beauty Pearls for Chemo Girls, LLC; Co-founder and President of MobileFields, LLC; and Partner at LiveLux.com

From 1985-1998 Debbie served as Executive Director of Worldwide Creative Operations for Clinique Laboratories, Inc. In 1998 she started a small creative consulting firm. For three years, she produced large-scale web sites for the Estee Lauder companies. After working in the web space for five years, Debbie identified a need that clients required a less structured process in order to accomplish their goals. ChalkDust Consulting was created with the idea that clients are looking for their own unique way of developing interactive media. ChalkDust’s client list includes or has included Fortune 100 companies such as The Estee Lauder Companies, The Limited, BBC, The Associated Press and HBO, Meredith Publishing, PepsiCo, Ralph Lauren, Autism Speaks, Anthony Brands, and FusionBeauty.

Debbie is also a managing member and co-author of “Beauty Pearls for Chemo Girls,” a nationally distributed book and online destination to help women undergoing chemotherapy treatment look and feel better. She has also been a co-host of a Beauty Pearls nationally distributed radio show on the Business Talk Radio Network and is a guest lecturer at the NYU School of Continuing Education in Digital Marketing.
