Provost Search Update - March 2023
Hello,
I am happy to share this end of March update on the Provost Search process.
The Search Committee has had the opportunity to review potential candidates vetted by our search partner, Odgers Berndtson, and during the week of March 20th began to conduct Zoom interviews with first-round candidates. These first-round interviews will continue through the second week in April. We expect to interview 8-10 candidates during this time.
From there, working with the Leadership Team, the Search Committee will identify 2-4 finalists to invite to campus during the month of May for in-person interviews. These in-person interviews will include conversations with several members of the LIM Community.
We will be working with the search firm to determine an itinerary for the in-person interviews and will contact appropriate individuals and groups to invite them to be a part of the interview process.
Throughout our conversations with the search firm, as well as candidates thus far, there has been a great deal of enthusiasm about the College, our programs, and strategic opportunities for this role.
I look forward to keeping you apprised of our continued progress. As always, if you have any questions regarding the Provost Search, please feel free to contact Carolyn McIntosh or me.
Best regards,
Christopher Barto
Vice President of Government Relations and Community Affairs
